چکیده
Reliable bonding between the prepared tooth and monolithic ceramics can be achieved by various luting agents available on market. The selection of agent cementation technique plays an important role in success restoration. With advent resin-based adhesive systems as agents, clinicians' perspectives have changed to a more conservative approach. Recent systems, chemically adhere athe crowns structure showing higher bond strength. To reach aesthetic demands patients, all-ceramic restorations were considered over metal-ceramic crowns. Few are brittle, strength is dependent chemical method fabrication. While some gain after cementation. Thus, choice used cementing crucial. Even though many being introduced no single fulfilled all requirements. Among them, cements showed greater enhanced retention minimal preparation, which less retentive. Traditional non-adhesive retentive preparations that through mechanical means rather than seen newer cements. Also, surface treatments zirconia strengths irrespective used. These include air abrasion, acid etching, applying silane couplers, primers increase area for adhesion. use restorations, need treatments, types adhesion evidence from current vitroresearch discussed this review.

Resin cementation of zirconia ceramics with different bonding agents
The aim of this study was to evaluate the effects of sandblasting and different chemical bonding agents on shear bond strength of zirconia and conventional resin cement. In this study, 35 zirconia specimens were treated as follows: Group I: control; Group II: sandblasting; Group III: sandblasting + Monobond S; Group IV: sandblasting + Monobond Plus; Group V: sandblasting + Z-Prime Plus. The spe...
متن کاملEffects of alumina-blasting and adhesive primers on bonding between resin luting agent and zirconia ceramics.
This study evaluated the effect of alumina-blasting and three commercial adhesive primers on the shear bond strength of a dual-cured resin luting agent to zirconia ceramics. Two different-sized zirconia ceramic specimens were treated with or without alumina-blasting and then treated with one of three adhesive primers. Subsequently, specimens were cemented together with Linkmax HV (GC). Half of ...
متن کاملWear performance of monolithic dental ceramics with different surface treatments.
OBJECTIVE To investigate the two-body wear performance of monolithic dental ceramics with different surface treatments. METHOD AND MATERIALS Standardized specimens (n = 8/ series) were fabricated from three monolithic dental ceramics (experimental translucent zirconia, experimental shaded zirconia, lithium disilicate). Four groups of each material were defined according to clinically relevant...

STATEMENT OF PROBLEM Reattachment of the fractured tooth fragment should be considered as a conservative treatment and valid alternative to a composite restoration. PURPOSE This in vitro study was to evaluate the influence of different adhesives and composite resins on fracture resistance of dental fragment reattached to the sectioned incisal edges. MATERIALS AND METHOD 120 sound human maxi...
متن کاملFibrous Monolithic Ceramics
Fibrous monolithic ceramics are an example of a laminate in which a controlled, three-dimensional structure has been introduced on a submillimeter scale. This unique structure allows this all-ceramic material to fail in a nonbrittle manner. Materials have been fabricated and tested with a variety of architectures. The influence on mechanical properties at room temperature and at high temperatur...
